How did you come to The Missourians:
I was visiting a friend’s church when the Missourians performed at the Central United Methodist Church in Webb City. They really caught my attention, by bringing the love of God and the joy of music together making a wonderful performance. My good friend Sam was talking to Stephen Gilmore and found out that he would be leaving the Missourians and they needed a spot to fill, so he called me and gave me the information on how to contact them.
Past Singing History:
I was raised in Webb City all my life, and I have been singing since I was a little boy. I grew up with my dad playing the guitar and writing songs just for me so that I could sing to people. I was actually a very shy kid since I was little all up to junior year in high school when I joined Webb City Singers. When I started the show choir I started to come out of my shell a little, so I tried out for a solo and got it. After that I was invited by a few of my new friends to join a quartet for contest and perform for people outside of school too. This just started a whole new road for me, I then joined the musical "The Music Man" and got the role as the tenor in the quartet. Also for contest I took a mixed double quartet, a solo, and a regular quartet. All of my contest groups went to state and got 1's. I am excited to say that this is only the beginning of my musical career.
Interesting facts/stories about me:
I didn't really start singing out until I was 16 years old, and since then I have loved every minute of my vocal talents and praise. I always wanted to sing with a really good quartet and travel for performances - that is really what hooked me on the Missourians, and the fact that they praise God and sing his name in the highest.
I am currently attending Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. majoring in vocal performance.
